Farmers are not the only ones who are affected by the current drought. Many businesses in these rural towns are suffering too. When pre-paid Visa cards and IGA cards are provided to farmers they are able to make their purchases of everyday essentials AND support local businesses – WIN WIN!
Drought Angels are committed to farmers, local businesses and the communities in which they live.

Drought Angels is a registered charity and work in our own right supporting farmers. We have no financial affiliation with any other organisation. Occasionally we join logistical forces with other aligned organisations to support a common goal on some projects. These will be listed on our website or Facebook page.
Thank you so much for your kind offer of support to our farmers.
As a charity working directly with farmers we have critical policy and procedures in place to protect the identity of the farmers we work with and the integrity of the charity.
As proud people, farmers find it difficult to reach out and ask for assistance. We need to ensure that contact with farmers is via our team exclusively, as we have built our reputation with them on trust and it is important that this is maintained.
You are welcome to send a package for a family and include a note in there for them to respond if they choose to, but it must come through Drought Angels for delivery.
We hope that this understanding of our policy gives you peace of mind.
Please contact us with your concerns. We are more than happy to discuss your concerns with you, alternatively please direct them to our application page on the website https://www.droughtangels.org.au/apply-for-assistance/
Approval is required to support Drought Angels and can be sought be completing the process found on our website at https://www.droughtangels.org.au/fundraise-now/
It is important to us to understand who is fundraising on our behalf and the type of initiative they have underway. Every fundraiser must have an Approval to Fundraise Letter from Drought Angels to be legitimate. We will endeavour to publish a list on our website or Facebook page of approved fundraisers.
If you have any concerns about a fundraiser you have become aware of please ask to see the Approval to Fundraise Letter or contact us to confirm https://www.droughtangels.org.au/contact/
